Great gallery so far! I'm not that familiar with 3D sculpting, are you using Z-brush, or something that's less dedicated to sculpting?

Thanks a lot for your comment.

Currently I am using Z-Brush but I am also evaluating Mudbox because I think that the UI of Z-Brush could be...well, way better.

Most of the time I create a basic model in my 3D application of choice and then export it to refine this model. Later on I move this refined model back to work on the lightning, shading and texturing.

Thanks for the insight. I've heard a lot of good things about Z-Brush's UI, but not so much from Mudbox. Both seem like a great way to model, though. I don't recall ever even seeing bad results from them, but maybe that's because only more experienced modelers use them.

Well, from what I have seen of Mudbox I think that it is way better than Z-Brush in terms of UI and workflow. Z-Brush's UI is too complicated although very flexible.

But as you already wrote: you can create awesome work with both of them.

I don't know if the quality of the result is connected to experienced creators. I don't consider myself experienced let alone a pro, more like a hobbyist. I think that digital sculpting is so great because it moves the technical aspects out of your sight. You don't have to move points anymore, you simply move them by "painting" on them. It is way more natural and creative. And faster.
